Bottino’s ShopRite stores treated famished shoppers to a kid-friendly lunch of beans and franks, macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets. There were cookies for dessert.
After a visit with Santa, who was collecting wish lists, students selected books they added to their bags to take home.
South Jersey Gas, Atlantic City Electric, and Ocean First Bank chipped in to purchase the winter wear and their staff volunteered at the event.
The South Jersey Region of the Sport Car Club of America held Coats for Kids fund drives during recent regional races held at NJMP. Several Porsche and BMW racing clubs also made contributions to purchase the winter coats.
